Fort Morgan, CO. 08/24/17.  The Morgan Community College (MCC) Foundation announces a new endowed scholarship for students. The Arthur Lee Endowment Pictured are (back row) MCC President Dr. Curt Freed, MCC Director of Development Kari Linker, Cliff and Pat Garver, (front row) MCC Foundation Coordinator Madalyn Piper, Julia Hollis, and Barbara Hollis.Scholarship has been created in memory of the late Art Lee of Wiggins, CO. The scholarship has been created to help a non-traditional student in need of assistance to achieve his/her educational dreams.

“Art and his family love this community and wanted to keep Art’s name alive by helping support MCC and its students,” said Director of Development Kari Linker. “We appreciate the additional opportunities this will provide students to further their education here at the College.”

“Art always gave back to his community by teaching and being very involved in youth sports. We are proud that we are able to continue his legacy through this scholarship,” shared Barbara Hollis. “He loved the Morgan County community, and education was very important to him.”
