“The calendars, which began in 1996, represent the entire MCC service area in eastern Colorado,” said Katie Barron, director of college communications & marketing. “We ask that the entries reflect this in their subject matter.”
Entries must be in landscape orientation (minimum 10” wide by 8” tall) and a resolution of 300 DPI. Cellphone images will be accepted if they meet the above printing specifications. There is no limit to the number of entries, and the contest is open to both amateur and professional photographers. Contest submissions need to include the photographer’s name and phone number, and should be emailed to Katie.Barron@MorganCC.edu.
The winning entry will be credited on the calendar, which will be distributed by the College to the surrounding communities for free throughout the year; no monetary prize will be awarded. Upon entry, the photographer authorizes MCC’s use of the image in future Morgan Community College promotions or publications.
