MCC welcomes Fort Morgan native TJ Schneider as MCC’s new Admissions Recruiter & Advisor. His professional marketing experience includes working with Furniture Mart and Colorado State University and as an Independent Marketing Consultant. Schneider has an Associates of General Studies from MCC and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from CSU. He began his employment on September 25.
Maria Cardenas is now MCC’s Director of Admissions. She has been with MCC for twelve years, and has worked for the last five years as the Financial Aid Processing Advisor. Cardenas is bilingual in Spanish, has an Associate of Arts degree in Business from MCC and a Bachelor of Science in Business from Adams State University. She began transitioning to Admissions on October 4.
Andrea L’Heureux has been with MCC for two years serving as the Manufacturing Pathways Coordinator. She recently accepted the new position of Dean of Workforce Development. In her new role, L’Heureux will develop strategic community partnerships throughout MCC’s service area and be responsible for the development of workforce education and industry training. L’Heureux received her Bachelor of Science in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and Anthropology from Kansas State University and a Master of Arts in Secondary/Post-Secondary School Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado. She will begin the transition into her new position on October 9.
Maggie Hughley will begin her new position as Cashier Coordinator in the Bookstore on Monday, October 9. She has been working part-time in human resources for MCC for the past five months. She brings more than 25 years of customer service experience from having worked in various retail stores. Hughley is attending MCC, and will receive her degree in Business Administration this December.
Dwight Schreiner will start in MCC’s Maintenance and Operations Department in the Structural Trades II position in mid-October. His background is in construction and includes owning Schreiner Construction for more than 20 years.
