Fort Morgan, CO. 03/02/18.  This year’s MCC Foundation Gala fundraiser grossed over $74,000, which includes sponsorships, admission and raffle ticket sales, and proceedsShot of crowd sitting at tables, looking at projection on wall. from the silent and live auctions. Over 300 attended the Gala, as well as more than 40 servers and volunteers—including Ehrlich Toyota team members who hosted the venue for the event.

“Our goal was to break the $70,000 mark, and we’ve exceed last year’s gross by more than $10,000,” stated Kari Linker, MCC Foundation Director of Development. She reported that $6,000 was raised specifically for scholarships during the paddle auction portion of the evening, all of which will be doubled with matching funds from the Colorado Opportunity Scholarship Initiative (COSI) for a total of $12,000.

The A.F. Williams Family Foundation was recognized with this year’s Distinguished Donor Award. “The Williams Family Foundation has supported the mission of MCC in significant ways over the years, helping the College provide life-changing opportunities for students.” noted Dr. Curt Freed, MCC President.

The lucky winner of this year’s reverse raffle grand prize was Kathy Frisbie. She will be able to select a vacation travel package thanks to raffle sponsor FMS Bank.
