Students are encouraged to complete BIO 216, HPR 108 and the HUM/Social Science Elective before entrance into the nursing program.
Student will graduate with a Practical Nursing Certificate and is prepared to complete the application for the National Licensure for Practical Nurses. Note: Student must also complete NUR 169 Transition into Practical Nursing (5 credits) offered only during the summer semester.
Students participating in the Bridge program (hold a LPN Liscense) must take NUR 189 Transition from LPN to ADN 4 credits, offered the summer before the beginning of the program only. These students should also complete MAT 103, HPR 216, and HPR 108 .
