MCC Year-End Employee Recognition

Fort Morgan, CO. 5/14/15. Morgan Community College (MCC) administrators, staff and faculty recently gathered to celebrate the end of the school year, as well as to recognize the many accomplishments of the organization and its personnel.

Spring "Pops" with the MCC Platte Valley Band

Fort Morgan, CO. 5-8-15. The MCC Platte Valley Band has scheduled their annual spring concert for Sunday, May 17 at 2 p.m. at the Dahms-Talton Band Shell in Fort Morgan City Park. The Band, lead under the direction of Charles Morgan, will feature music from across the centuries, including American folk, music from the 60’s, contemporary hits, and songs from film.

MCC Announces New Vice President of Instruction

FORT MORGAN, CO. 05/08/15. Morgan Community College (MCC) welcomes Dr. Monica Ramirez as the new Vice President of Instruction. On June 1, Dr. Ramirez will join the MCC administration upon the retirement of Betty McKie.

Fort Morgan, CO. 5/7/12.  The Morgan Community College Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) Chapter will be holding a garage sale on Saturday, May 12 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Founder’s Room on campus. “There will be something for everyone,” said HOSA advisor Jane Reyez.

“We will not be opening early on Saturday; however, we would welcome any donations that residents can possibly spare from basements, garages, closets, etc. This would be an excellent time to do some spring cleaning!” noted Reyez. Sale donations will be accepted on Friday afternoon between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., in Founder’s Room. Funds raised during the event will benefit students attending the HOSA state leadership conference in the fall.

Health Occupations Students of America is a national career and technical student organization endorsed by the U.S. Department of Education and the Health Science Technology Education Division of ACTE. HOSA is composed of secondary and postsecondary students, and is the largest student organization that prepares students to enter the health care field.
