Quilts Warm Up MCC Campus

Fort Morgan, CO. 11-13-14. Baby its cold outside—but the walls at Morgan Community College (MCC) have been warmed with fifty-four quilts currently on display at the Fort Morgan campus through December 12.

Dahms-Talton Donation Supports Documentary

Recent donations to the College’s Center for Arts and Community Enrichment (CACE) have helped bolster the project, which is being produced by Eden Lane, co-owner of Sleeping Dog Media and host of the PBS series “In Focus.” The College’s Center for Arts and Community Enrichment is pleased to announce the Dahms-Talton Foundation as the initial title sponsor of the project.

Burlington, CO. 05/22/12.  Morgan Community College (MCC) will be hosting a series of one-day workshops on using Facebook, offered at three levels—beginners through advanced. Each session costs $10.00, and will be in the computer lab at the MCC Burlington Center, located at 340 S. 14th Street.

“Facebook for Beginners” will include hands-on learning of basic Facebook use, taught by Instructor Mack Witzel. Dates offered are:

Saturday, June 16   9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Tuesday, June 19    6 to 9 p.m.

Saturday, June 23   9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

“Facebook II” will cover using the social media site as a marketing tool for business owners, taught by Instructor Heather Baeza, Administrator of Eastern Colorado Market Place. Session dates are:

Thursday, June 14  6 to 8 p.m.

Saturday, June 16   1 to 3 p.m.

“Facebook III” session is dedicated to maximizing the use of Facebook for your business. Attendees are required to have an active Facebook account. Dates offered are:

Thursday, June 21  6 to 8 p.m.

Saturday, June 23   1 to 3 p.m.
