Participants Announced for Small Business Partnership Program at MCC

Fort Morgan, CO. 09/30/16. Morgan Community College announces the participants chosen by the nominating committee for this year’s Small Business Partnership Program. The program’s courses instruct students on how to develop a business plan, project costs, and figure returns on investment.

Preparing for the unexpected: MCC offers First Aid and CPR

Morgan Community College (MCC) is offering a one-day First Aid & Adult CPR class on Saturday, October 1 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Fort Morgan campus.

National Adult Education and Family Literacy Week

Morgan County is fortunate to have Adult Education and Family Literacy education offered in two locations through Morgan Community College (MCC). The Career Pathways and Adult Education program, located in Cedar Hall on the east side of the Fort Morgan campus, provides classes for the general community. The MCC/Cargill Workplace Education program provides classes onsite for Cargill employees and their family members.

Fort Morgan, CO. 11/18/13.  The turkey season is nearly upon us, and soon it’ll be time to deck the halls.Image: The MCC Jazz Ensemble performing live on KUVO Jazz 89. To add to the holiday spirit, the MCC Jazz Ensemble is ready with their Winter Concert, scheduled for Sunday, December 1 at 7 p.m. in the Fort Morgan Middle School Auditorium.

The concert, led under the direction of Ron Pflug, will feature performances by both the Big Band and the Ragtime Orchestra. The concert is free and open to the public.

The MCC Jazz Ensemble has achieved local, regional, and national notoriety. The group’s 2009 CD, Home Grown: The Music of Glenn Miller, has earned play time on radio stations broadcasting in Denver, Breckenridge, Vail, Alamosa, and Hawaii. The group performed live on KUVO Jazz 89 and has played by invitation twice at the State Capitol.
