CCCS Recognizes Outstanding Students

The annual Rising Star awards luncheon is designed to recognize the outstanding contributions of students and staff across the Colorado Community College System to college activities and community service.

MCC Goes to State SkillsUSA Conference

Fort Morgan, CO. 04/16/15. Fifteen students represented Morgan Community College (MCC) at this year’s SkillsUSA State Conference, held in Colorado Springs, and returned with one silver medal and two bronze medals.

MCC Hires New Instructional Media Technician

Fort Morgan, CO. 04/15/15. Morgan Community College (MCC) welcomes Jonathan Rogers as MCC’s new Instructional Media Technician. Rogers will oversee and coordinate distance learning to classrooms at multiple campuses, connect video conferencing systems and media equipment, and manage channel 190, the local public education channel.

Fort Morgan, CO. 05/10/12. The Alpha Omicron Zeta Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) at Morgan Community College has inducted 17 new members. A ceremony was held on March 7, with seven MCC students present for the induction ceremony held in Bloedorn Lecture Hall on the Fort Morgan campus.

The students present at the ceremony were (from left to right): Zachary Lebsock (Fort Morgan), GinaRae Denes (Fort Morgan), Trista Karas (Fort Morgan), Christopher Cobbley (Fort Morgan), Shaleena McKie (Fort Morgan), Vicky Slotterback (Fort Morgan), and Samuel Smith (Yuma).

New members not pictured are: Christine Adams (Snyder), Lori Castilleja (Fort Lupton), Alyssa Hanson (Limon), Danielle Lebsock (Fort Morgan), Emily Moczygemba (Flagler), Marsha Nielsen (Fort Morgan), Jenifer Strickland (Hillrose), Cindy Tena (Wray), Nicholaus Virden (Bennett), Hadleigh Wailes (Bennett).
