Viaero Wireless is proud to announce its decision to Image: (Pictured left to right): Jaylene Evans, MCC Business & Applied Technology Division Chair; Viaero President Frank DiRico; Dr. Kerry Hart, MCC President; Jon Becker, Viaero; Dr. Jarry Schaefer, MCC Foundation President.donate $10,000 to the Morgan Community College Foundation in support of Morgan Community College (MCC). The funds will be used to support MCC’s Business Partnership Program and technology upgrades for the College.

“Morgan Community College continues to be a leader in our community, and together we can continue to provide the latest technology for students and foster small business growth,” says President and Viaero Wireless Founder Frank DiRico.

“The generous gift from Viaero provides MCC with support for the Entrepreneur Business program and also leading edge technology,” notes MCC President Dr. Kerry Hart. MCC will allocate $7,000 towards technology, and $3,000 will be presented as a fourth place prize to this year’s winning business plan in MCC’s highly coveted Entrepreneur Business Plan contest. Students selected to participate in the program were instructed on how to develop a business plan, project costs, and figure returns on investment for their business. Students are evaluated by a non-college panel.

“Small business growth is essential to local economies,” adds DiRico. “With corporate headquarters in Fort Morgan and as a major employer in eastern Colorado, supporting the health and growth of the community has always been a priority for Viaero.”

Hart agrees, “This gift will undoubtedly benefit Morgan County and eastern Colorado. MCC prides itself on responding to business and industry training needs. In order to keep MCC competitive and on the cutting edge with this type of responsiveness, funding for program support, such as that provided by Viaero, enables MCC to continue its role as an economic driver.”
