(John La Porte/Fort Morgan Times) Morgan Community College announced Friday during its annual MCC Foundation Gala that it has received a $200,000 donation from Cargill to go toward furnishing the school's new health sciences building, scheduled for completion in the fall.

College officials and well-wishers celebrated MCC's 40th birthday in the Bloedorn Building on Main Street, which Farmers State Bank of Fort Morgan donated for use by the college in its early days.
