II. Student Success Goal: The demands of Colorado businesses and communities shall be met through the development of a high skilled work force.

I.  Student Access Goal: All Coloradans shall have access to comprehensive community college educational programs.

  • MCC employees participated in College Friday on April 6, to promote college opportunities.
  • MCC Wray Center hosted two fun community education classes scheduled; “Making the Most of Story Time,” a children’s literature workshop which focused on how to choose a level appropriate book and reading techniques, and “Tools and Tiaras,” a car care workshop designated for women and presented by a female ASE student. Childcare was provided by the Wray High School Family, Career and Community Leaders of America club.
  • The Center for Arts and Community Enrichment (CACE) hosted four events this month: “Best of the Best” student art exhibit from area middle and high schools, as well as MCC students. The MCC Platte Valley Band and MCC Morgan County Chorale each had spring concert, and Colorado’s Poet Laureate David Mason will be a featured speaker during an Open Mic Poetry Night.
