Morgan Community College (MCC) is pleased to announce the new Director of Institutional Effectiveness, Derek Grubb. This position collects and processes statistical data, reports and tracks enrollment trends, and provides needed background figures and measurements when applying for grants.

Grubb has a Master's degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education. He recently moved to Fort Morgan from his previous position at Trinidad State Junior College where he had been the Director of Student Support Services for the past four years.

In his spare time, Grubb is a volunteer firefighter and EMT. He has always been active in his community, having served on several non-profit boards including the Trinidad/Las Animas County Economic Development, Spanish Peaks Behavioral Health Centers, and Spanish Peaks Fire Department Auxiliary. Grubb grew up in many parts of the world, but has spent most of his adult life in Colorado. His wife, Amanda, and son look forward to making a new home in Morgan County and building new friendships.
