| I have been taking advantage of the many ways to further my education through MCC for many years now. I took my first college class at MCC, college algebra, when I was a senior in high school. After high school I went to UNC. While attending UNC I heard about the Physical Therapy Assistant program at MCC. I knew I wanted to be a therapist for a career. I still live in Greeley but to make travel easier I began to take online courses through MCC. It made my life easier allowing me to still work and not having to commute everyday of the week. The online classes still made me be a responsible student with deadlines and challenging course loads. I learned just as much through the online programs as I would in the classroom. For those students who need a more flexible schedule or are taking classes from another major university I would definitely suggest taking advantage of MCC's online classes. MCC offers a more affordable way of furthering your education while maintaining a high standard of learning. I am continuing my education through MCC towards a physical therapy assistant. After I receive my PTA I plan on working for a few years and then think about applying to get my Doctorate of Physical Therapy. |
