Angela Tornowski
Morgan Community College student Angela Tornowski is a young woman committed to a dream and a career path and is turning heads as she goes. At age 17 she graduated from Limon High School with her diploma and from MCC with her associate of arts degree.

The seed was planted for her dream when she was only a freshman in high school. She became a mentor to three little boys to improve their reading skills. The next three years of high school she not only assisted with reading but began teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) to young students.

Angela's dream of completing a double major in ESL and business will allow her to develop and market ESL teaching tools for which she sees a great need. Her career path is carefully planned and partly accomplished because of the college credits she completed through the MCC Limon Center while she was still in high school. Angela saw an opportunity and eagerly accepted it. For most of her MCC courses she received dual credit for high school and college.

After graduation, Angela transferred her MCC credits to New Mexico State University in Las Cruces as a college junior to earn her baccalaureate degree. From there her plans include working towards a master's at Texas A & M.
