What have you discovered about MCC while working on this team? There is a lot of good emphasis at MCC and the Enrollment Management Team on student success and evaluation. …MCC works very hard on continually trying to improve our institution for both the students and its employees. MCC gives employees an opportunity to voice their opinion. What I have discovered about MCC while working on Enrollment Management is that the faculty and staff have a wealth of knowledge about students and what it takes for students to succeed; that the faculty and staff that have worked on this team are some of the most dedicated people I have been around. What would you like people to know about AQIP or about the Enrollment Management Team? Increasing enrollment is a long and arduous passage always exacerbated by the quagmire of budget and money issues. There are many things we can do and are planning to do, but the long and short of it is that we have a hard road ahead of us reaching those who need MCC most. I would like the rest of MCC to know that the members of this team have been working very hard to create an enrollment management plan that meets the needs of the students but also the college. …the plan will have specific goals that will be modified as it is determined what works and what does not. …AQIP is working hard on bettering the enrollment process at MCC to make it a smoother transition for all students, both traditional and non-traditional. |
