Hello and welcome to
Morgan Community College.
My background.
I have
a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics with two majors, one in Applied
Statistics and one in Actuarial Science. Upon completion of a few
more courses and I would have turned my minor in Psychology into another
bachelor’s degree. However, I was eager to start my master’s degree
in Applied Statistics and Research Methods at the University of Northern
Colorado. I may go back and pick up those classes later on.
Once
my education was completed, I began working at the Greeley hospital in
the Material Management Department. I ran into an old friend from
graduate school and she informed me of an opportunity to teach at Aims
Community College. I started working part-time at the college
teaching, tutoring, and working in their learning lab. I loved
it. I also obtained a job at Front Range Community College teaching
and tutoring mathematics. I started working at MCC in the fall
semester 2000.
I look forward
to meeting you and sharing ideas, math related or not.
