Here is a list of downloadable files and links to some examples.  Each of the files or links below opens a new window.

Filename/Link Description
example-csv.csv File with sample info in comma separated values format.  Many banks allow downloading info in this format.  Use it to practice downloading and converting into a spreadsheet. Click on the link to the left, then select save, then select Open File once the download is complete.  See SpreadsheetTips.htm for more.
example-txt.txt Same content as example-csv.csv but your spreadsheet won't open it because the .txt indicates it should be opened with a word processor or text editor.  Try it.  Right Click on the link to the left, then select save, then select Open File once the download is complete.  It should open with Wordpad or Word.  If you just click on the file, it will display the contents in your browser.  See SpreadsheetTips.htm for more.
greenbar.xls Copy of the Amortize Excel spreadsheet that uses conditional formatting to show the even numbered rows in with a different background.  See SpreadsheetTips.htm for more.
