Admissions
The College will admit all students who can profit from the instruction for which they enroll. However admission to the College does not assure acceptance of an individual student in a particular course or program. Some students may be required to enroll in special courses for correction of scholastic difficulties.
Step 1: Admission
Apply online - it's quick and easy! Follow the steps below.
- Take this quick survey so we can know you better.
- Go to MyED (online application)
- Click New, Transfer or Re-Admission
- Create your temporary LoginID - WRITE IT DOWN!
Case sensitive, 9 letters/numbers (no special characters)
This is temporary - it will disappear after you are admitted
- Create your temporary LoginPIN - WRITE IT DOWN!
Must be 6 numbers (no special characters)
- When your Admission Application is complete, you can contact Student Services at 1-800-622-0216 or 970-542-3167 to get your student UserID which will start with an "S". Your UserID will be mailed to you within a few days. Upon receipt of your UserID, you can login to register for classes.
Step 2: Financial Aid
MCC assists students in applying for financial aid and veterans' benefits.
Step 3: Assessments
Morgan Community College has implemented a Placement Exam program designed to assist in the placement of students in proper courses. MCC is committed to working with students to ensure success and has found that effective placement in courses increases the probability of that success.
Step 4 Advising/Counseling
Prior to registering for classes, all new students should meet with an advisor or counselor. In your first meeting you will learn about orientation, programs and classes.
Step 5: Registration
New students must register for class in person at any campus Admissions Office. Information is available online to assist new distance education students in registering for classes.
Step 6: Cashier
Pay your tuition online, or at any center Bookstore.
Step 7: Orientation
All students new to college should complete orientation. Schedules of orientation sessions are available online.
