Colorado Department of Higher Education (CDHE) ResearchMCC provides data to the Colorado Department of Higher Education each semester through the Student Unit Record Data System (SURDS). This data is used to generate reports for public and legislative use. CDHE publishes reports on a variety of topics like matriculation, remediation, retention, transfer, and graduation. These reports provide comparisons across all Colorado public high schools, colleges, and universities. US Dept of Education IPEDS ReportsIn compliance with federal regulations, MCC also reports data to the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS). Some of the data is pre-filled by CDHE using reported SURDS Data. MCC confirms that the pre-loaded information is correct and also supplies additional data to the IPEDS system. IPEDS allows any individual to search data on a specific institution or make comparisons. In addition, MCC creates customized Data Feedback Reports with comparisons to other Colorado Community Colleges as well as peer colleges across the country.
