build your career.

Trying to decide what to do with your life and what “major” to study can be extremely difficult for many people. By the time they are ready to see a career counselor, they have spent a lot of time contemplating their life and future and don’t know where else to turn for answers.

Career counseling is about your career, not a job. A job is what you are doing to make money and pay the bills right now. A career is built over a lifetime. A career is about doing the best you can at your current job because it will continue to mean employment and allow you movement within the world of work. A career counselor can help you figure out the steps to take in order to make your career successful over the long haul.

Take advantage of the career counselor and allow them to help you figure out what you want to do with your life and how you want to build your career.
