Meet the Faculty
Don Enninga - Emergency Medical Services

Don Enninga is the EMS Coordinator at Morgan Community College, 920 Barlow Road in Fort Morgan, CO. Don started his EMS career in 1980 after taking an EMT class in Byers Colorado, where he was a Vocational Agriculture Instructor. After moving to Wiggins, Colorado in July of 1980, he became a member of the Morgan County Ambulance Service in October, and is currently a part-time EMT Intermediate there.
Don has served in various capacities in EMS including:

• Morgan County EMS Council member— 1998 to present
  
• Morgan County EMS Council secretary –2004-present
  
• Weld County Ambulance—part time—1995-1996
  
• High Plains Regional EMS Council—1998 to present
  
• North East Colorado RETAC representative from Morgan County—2005 to present
  
• North East Colorado RETAC vice Chair—2006 to present
  
• NCRETAC Education Sub Committee Chair—2007-2008
  
• Colorado International Trauma Life Support Board—2003 to present
  
• EMS Instructor/Coordinator—Morgan Community College—1996 to present
  
• Centennial Area Health Education Center Board—2004 to present

Don instructs the on-campus EMT Basic, IV, ITLS, CPR and First Aid courses for MCC, as well as coordinating other on-campus EMS courses such as EMT Intermediate, ACLS, PALS, and others. He also coordinates EMS courses off campus in the MCC service area, which encompasses 11,500 miles from Ft. Morgan east to Wray, south to Burlington, west through Limon to Bennett and back to Ft. Morgan.
