Evelyn Kral - Developmental Education
I have a bachelor of science degree from Kearney State College, now known as the University Of Nebraska at Kearney. Upon completion of my degree I taught Vocational Home Economics, grades 7-12, for eight years in eastern Nebraska.
Upon coming to Colorado, I taught at Woodlin High School for three years. I took about 5 years off to raise our children. While the children were in the early grades, I was a substitute teacher in the Brush School District for 5 years.
In January of 1989 I started part-time in the PAL(Personalized Assistance in Learning) lab here at MCC. In 1991 I became a full-time faculty member teaching all of the developmental education classes. At this time it has been narrowed down to developmental mathematics—Introductory and Intermediate Algebra.
I find great pleasure in meeting first time students and watching them grow and succeed in their chosen careers.
