Fort Morgan, CO. 04/10/18. Morgan Community College’s Center for Arts and Community Enrichment (CACE) announces a spring concert featuring the MCC Jazz Ensemble. The performance is scheduled for Sunday, April 29 at 7 p.m. at The Sanctuary (14587 Highway 34, Fort Morgan). The concert is free and open to the public.
The MCC Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Nick Booker, will perform a wide range of music. The concert will include rock n’ roll favorites such as Aretha Franklin’s Respect, Nat King Cole’s Straighten Up and Fly Right, and Dance to the Music by Sly and the Family Stone. “The band will also be joined by Rosie O’Connor (Fort Morgan Middle School Choir Director) on vocals,” revealed Booker. “We will be including a few jazz standards for the jazz purists in the crowd, as well.”
