The webinar’s presenter, nationally known marketing expert Eric Shanfelt, is the founder and CEO of Local Marketing Institute. He has 25 years of experience in digital marketing and has served as the Chief Digital Officer for several consumer media companies.

This workshop will demonstrate how local businesses can get started with e-commerce and how to market products and services on a variety of platforms.  Those familiar with e-commerce selling will also benefit by discovering new approaches to improve their efforts.

A few of the topics that will be covered include:

  • How Google My Business Works
  • Best Practices for Photos and Videos
  • How to Optimize Business Information
  • Using GMB Instant Messaging
  • Why and How to set Up a GMB Website
  • How to Fight Google My Business Spam

“These past six months have shown how imperative it is for businesses to pivot in some fashion – how they market, how they deliver, or even how they sell.  Our first workshop on e-commerce led by Eric Shanfelt this past spring was extremely popular,” states Sandy Schneider-Engle, MCC Director of Business Development and Executive Director of the Fort Morgan Area Chamber of Commerce.  “We decided to bring him back in order to provide our business community with additional strategies on how they can expand operations and increase efficiency through various e-commerce initiatives.”
