Program Requirements

  • Transfer courses from an associate degree cannot be applied to the remaining 60 BAS credit hours.
  • Students must enroll in BUS 4081 OR BUS 4089 in the final semester.
  • A minimum of 120 credits is required to complete this degree.
  • If receiving financial aid, students should only take courses required for this degree. Check with your advisor to monitor your progress.

Faculty

Leah Thomas

Leah joined MCC as a faculty member in 2019. Before becoming full-time Business faculty, she managed MCC’s ABM program, aiding local rural businesses in financial management and planning for sustainable growth. Previously, she was an Agriculture Education teacher in secondary education, where she developed a passion for teaching.

Leah has extensive business experience from her family’s businesses and supervising multiple Starbucks stores across the Front Range. She excels in employee training, development, and driving operational and financial success. Leah holds an MBA from Western Governors University and has completed CPA prep courses to support her students’ career goals. She enjoys seeing her students thrive academically and professionally.

Leah lives in Fort Morgan with her husband and two children and loves spending time with her family and being outdoors.
