In partnership with LCC, the RN to BSN nursing program at MCC offers an accredited, high-quality, flexible, and affordable path for Registered Nurses across Colorado’s eastern plains to achieve a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Thanks to a generous endowment from the Williams Family Foundation all students admitted into the RN to BSN program receive an institutional scholarship.

How to Apply in 3 Steps

1.  Apply to Morgan Community College

Create your account and click “Create New Application” at the bottom of the page.

2.  Complete the Online Application

Follow the steps to start an application. Under the Academic Plans section, choose the following:

    1. Identify the semester you wish to start.
    2. What is your current goal for community college – Select “Earn a degree to enter the workforce”
    3. Select a degree or certificate- Select”Nursing: RN to BSN Program”.
    4. What campus do you want to attend – Select “MCC Online Campus”.

3.  Complete Your Supplemental Items

Log back into your account and select “Complete the required supplemental items”.

    1. Upload a copy of your nursing license.
    2. Upload all of your unofficial transcripts.
    3. Request an official transcript to be sent from your previous schools to the MCC Registrar Office.

 

Other Application Information

  • The RN to BSN completion program is designed for the working registered nurse who has already earned an associate degree or diploma. This online program features 7-week courses with flexible starts that can be completed in three to five semesters, depending on general education course completion.

    • Online Applications are open
      • Fall enrollment: July 1st – August 8th
      • Spring enrollment: October 1st – November 8th
      • Summer enrollment: March 1st – April 8th
    • Criteria for selection (competitive, point-based)
      • Cumulative Grade Point Average for RN nursing course work
      • Residence in MCC or LCC service area for minimum of 6 months
      • Graduate of MCC or LCC AAS nursing program
      • Previously qualified applicant not admitted

More Information for Students

Program Outcomes

By the end of the program, the students will achieve the following:

 

  1. >80% or higher of the students will complete their program within 150% of the length of the program from the start of the first nursing course.
  2. >80% of graduates will rate average or above-average 9 months after graduation their preparation to carry out the role of the Baccalaureate Nurse on their graduate/alumni survey.
  3. > 80% of graduates surveyed will have employment as an RN within nine months of graduation.
