5th Year Program and MCC graduate

“Going to MCC was one of the best things I’ve ever done. In high school, I hadn’t thought about college and didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life. My Mom had actually signed me up for classes while I was still in high school, so I started going and found out how much I liked business. Enrolling in the 5^th year program was critical to obtaining higher education—I couldn’t have done it any other way.

College is not overrated. MCC is a good start; I learned to be more organized and saved a ton cash. I graduated with an Associate’s degree and transferred into the international business program at the University of Colorado, Denver. At 19, I’m one of the youngest in my class, but with the help of MCC staff I have received several scholarships—the staff at the Bennett Center really got me through and was helpful even after I had graduated.”
