Fines - Overdue Materials
If a patron has overdue materials, additional items cannot be checked out until the materials are returned.
No overdue fines will be assessed for overdue materials returned in good condition.
Material that is not returned to the library by its due date is considered overdue. Eligible items may be renewed on or before the due date to avoid becoming overdue. Interlibrary loan materials cannot be renewed.
Fines - Lost & Damaged Materials
Patrons with overdue materials considered lost to the library collection will be sent a lost notice, which will be considered a bill. Replacement costs and processing charges are waived if all materials are returned undamaged.
A hold may be placed on a student’s record when library items go to lost status until materials are returned or the fee is paid.
The college is not responsible for any damage caused by its materials to any electronic system, including music and TV players and recorders (i.e. DVD, Blu-Ray players, etc.).
