I like that at MCC, everybody is there to help you whenever you need it. At the beginning of the year, I had no idea what I was doing. I’m a first-generation college student and my parents and I didn’t know how this worked, and everybody helped me as much as they could. It was a really great experience for me. It made me more confident in myself and I’m really glad that I’m here.

Faculty Spotlight
Maggie Camacho
Maggie Camacho grew up in the Akron area and became interested in the credit union industry shortly after high school. The philosophy of “people helping people” aligned with her passion for helping consumers and underserved communities. She was a Vice President and an instrumental leader in growing the credit union where she worked. Being from Northeast Colorado, Maggie understands pride and care for the community, and her dad’s hard work ethic taught her to be determined. Bringing that determination to a new role at MCC, Maggie strives to use her knowledge and experience to help small and aspiring entrepreneurs grow their businesses. Her hope is to help students overcome obstacles, including language barriers, and show them ways to succeed!
