Artwork featured in the exhibit was thoughtfully selected by dedicated art teachers who recognized exceptional creativity and skill in student submissions. The exhibit aims to showcase the achievements of rising artists while providing them with a platform to share their unique voices through a variety of artistic mediums.
A panel of local artists will review the pieces and choose top entries from each academic level. Visitors will also have the chance to participate by voting for their favorite work in the “People’s Choice” category.
A reception and awards ceremony are scheduled for May 14 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the CACE Gallery of Fine Art, with awards presented at 5:00 PM. During the event, winners from each academic level, along with the “People’s Choice” recipient, will be announced. Attendees are encouraged to meet the artists and celebrate their accomplishments.
“The Best of the Best Student Art Show is a meaningful showcase of the creativity and talent found in our local students,” said MCC CACE Coordinator, Suzanna Spears. “We welcome the community to join us in recognizing these emerging artists and the inspiration they provide.”
