Help people heal and live better lives.

Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) work closely with physical therapists to care for people of all ages who are dealing with injuries, disabilities, or other health challenges. PTAs help patients reduce pain, improve movement, and reach their best possible health.

At Morgan Community College, our Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Physical Therapist Assistant program will train you to become a skilled, caring, and professional PTA. You’ll learn how to help patients regain strength, move better, and get back to doing the things they love. As a PTA, you’ll work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist or Doctor of Physical Therapy to make a real difference in people’s lives.

Why Choose MCC’s PTA Program?

  • Finish in just 21 months – Get your AAS degree and start your career quickly
  • Flexible schedule – Classes just 2-3 days a week at our Fort Morgan campus
  • Small class sizes – Get more one-on-one attention from instructors
  • Expert faculty – Learn from experienced professionals who care about your success

Who Do PTAs Help?

PTAs work with a wide range of patients, including:

  • Children (pediatrics)
  • Older adults
  • Patients with chronic illness
  • People recovering from injuries or surgeries
  • Individuals with neurological or orthopedic conditions
  • Athletes

No matter the patient, the goal is the same: help them reduce pain, move better, and live healthier lives!
