Fort Morgan, CO 1/26/2021. Morgan Community College (MCC) Foundation is pleased to announce a new scholarship, The Patty Wickstrom Endowment Scholarship. The endowment will provide scholarships for Morgan County students to pursue their educational goals at Morgan Community College, with priority given to applicants from Weldon Valley.
“Patty was always giving back to the community, whether it was at Weldon Valley School, Relay for Life, her church, or several other causes,” said Cary Wickstrom. “My family has been invested in Morgan County farming and ranching for over 100 years. I’m happy to fund this endowment at MCC in honor of Patty.”
“The Wickstrom family have been long term supporters of this community and we are honored to continue Patty’s legacy,” said Madalyn Babcock, MCC Foundation and Development Office Coordinator. “The generosity of the Wickstrom family will create a great impact in our community and support student success for years to come.”
