MCC CACE Presents Creative Wildlife Exhibit Featuring Artist Traci Zajaczkowski

Traci Zajaczkowski possesses a unique ability to capture the personalities and essence of animals and wildlife through her artistic expertise.

Morgan Community College’s (MCC) Center for Arts and Community Enrichment (CACE) announces an upcoming Creative Wildlife Exhibit, showcasing the exceptional talents of artist Traci Zajaczkowski. The two- and three-dimensional exhibition is scheduled to run from January 11 through February 15, 2024, at the MCC CACE Gallery of Fine Art, located at 300 Main Street, Fort Morgan.

Traci Zajaczkowski, resident of Arvada, Colorado, possesses a unique ability to capture the personalities and essence of animals and wildlife through her artistic expertise. Inspired by her high school art teacher to pursue a career in art, Zajaczkowski has dedicated nineteen years to teaching at the elementary and middle school levels in Grand and Boulder Counties. Currently serving as the Artist in Residence at the Children’s Museum in Denver, she holds a master’s degree in Illustration from Syracuse University and has earned many accolades, including the People’s Choice Award at the Foothills Art Center in Golden, Colorado.

The public is invited to experience the vibrant world of Traci Zajaczkowski’s portraits at the CACE Gallery of Fine Art. The gallery will be open on weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with free admission. An Artist’s Reception is scheduled for January 11, 2024, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the gallery.

As part of her community engagement, Zajaczkowski will lead a complimentary Pen and Ink Drawing Workshop for adults and children aged 12 and over on February 17, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The workshop will be held in MCC’s Founders Room, located at 920 Barlow Road in Fort Morgan. Registration for the workshop is required, and space is limited. Interested participants can register at MorganCC.edu/CACE.

“We are excited to host Traci and her artwork at the CACE Gallery of Fine Art,” said MCC CACE Coordinator, Suzanna Spears. “The exhibit should be inspiring to both children and adults and help each viewer consider the beauty of wildlife and natural settings.”
