MCC’s Construction Trades program prepares you for in-demand jobs in carpentry, framing, remodeling, and more—while teaching the professional and safety standards that make you worksite-ready.

Meet the Faculty

MCC staff member Colin Stieb

Faculty

Colin Stieb

Colin began his career with Morgan Community College in April 2025. Before that, he worked as a private contractor specializing in finish work for many years. From 2020 to 2023, he taught construction for the Colorado Department of Corrections, and from 2023 to 2024, he supervised the Correctional Industries leather and saddle shop after it moved to Cañon City. In 2023, Colin earned his A.A. with an emphasis in Studio Arts from Northeastern Junior College.

Colin grew up in Logan County and lives there with his family, three dogs, two cats, and a small flock of chickens. In his spare time, he enjoys crafting stained glass and other art forms, including woodworking, and continues to restore his 100+ year-old home.
