Movie Night: A League of Their Own (Celebrating Women’s History Month)

Celebrate Women’s History Month by joining MCC Student Life for Movie Night at MCC where we will be watching “A League of Their Own”!

A League of Their Own is about the first women’s professional baseball league formed during World War II, following the Rockford Peaches team and focusing on the rivalry between star catcher Dottie Hinson and her ambitious younger sister Kit, as they navigate challenges with their reluctant, washed-up manager Jimmy Dugan and learn to play as a team while challenging societal expectations for women. It’s a story of sisterhood, teamwork, and finding strength in sports during a pivotal time in history.

Fundraiser concessions will be provided at this event. Feel free to bring blankets and chairs.
