Applied Technology
Finish your degree by building on the technical training you already have.
The Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Applied Technology is designed for students who have completed Career and Technical Education (CTE) coursework at an approved technical college and want to take the next step. This degree lets you transfer in the hands-on skills you’ve already earned and complete the general education classes needed for an A.A.S. degree at Morgan Community College.
Many students come to MCC with 45 or more CTE credits. These credits can meet all or most of the elective requirements for the degree. At MCC, you’ll focus on the remaining general education courses to finish your associate degree and open the door to new career or advancement opportunities.
How many credits will I take at MCC?
Most students only need 15 credits of general education coursework at MCC because their previous CTE training fulfills the rest of the degree requirements.
Talk to an Advisor
If you’re interested in completing your Applied Technology degree, schedule a meeting with an MCC advisor. They will review your transcript, help you understand how many credits you can transfer, and guide you in choosing the classes you need to graduate.
