Communication

Build strong communication skills to express yourself clearly, connect with others, and succeed in any career.

Speak Up. Connect. Make an Impact.

Do you like talking with people, sharing ideas, or making content? The Communication program at Morgan Community College helps you grow strong speaking, writing, and listening skills—useful in almost any job. This two-year degree is a smart start if you plan to transfer to a four-year university.

Why Study Communication?

  • Learn about public speaking, personal conversations, media, and digital communication.
  • Take classes online, in-person, or both to fit your schedule.
  • Build skills that help you express yourself, work with others, and understand different views.

What You’ll Learn

You will take classes in public speaking, media studies, and how people interact. These courses teach you to build strong arguments, study messages, and connect with different types of audiences. This is a great choice if you want to transfer or explore a creative career.

What is a Transfer Degree?

A transfer degree from Morgan Community College is a smart way to begin your college journey. You’ll complete your first two years at MCC, where classes are smaller and more affordable. Then, you can transfer to a four-year public university in Colorado to finish your bachelor’s degree.

These degrees are called Degrees with Designation (DwDs). That means they’re set up to match the program you plan to transfer into, depending on the university you choose.

To make sure you're on the right path, it's very important to talk with an advisor early. They’ll help you choose the right courses based on your transfer goals.
