Integrative Health

Prepare for a rewarding career in whole-person care with Integrative Health, where you’ll learn skills that blend wellness, prevention, and evidence-based practice.

Start Your Career in Integrative Health Quickly!

Begin your career in integrative health with short, affordable microcredentials. These certificates let you earn while you learn and can be combined to build toward a degree. In a year or less, you can gain the skills to enter the behavioral health workforce and start making a difference.

What is Integrative Health?

Integrative health is a patient-centered approach to care that combines conventional medicine with complementary therapies to treat the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. It uses evidence-based practices, lifestyle changes, and personalized care plans to promote overall well-being and reduce the risk of disease.

Why Choose Behavioral & Integrative Health?

The need for behavioral and integrative health professionals is growing fast. By the end of the decade, jobs in this field are expected to grow by nearly 28%, with more than 1,500 annual openings in Colorado alone. With one in five Coloradans living with a behavioral health or substance use disorder, qualified workers are in high demand.

Program Benefits

  • Fast and Affordable – Get job-ready in less than a year.
  • Earn While You Learn – Enter the workforce sooner while earning credit toward a degree.
  • Industry-Recognized Credentials – Build your résumé with digital badges that validate core skills.
  • Pathway to Advancement – Microcredentials are an alternative to a longer education path, but they can also help you decide if you’d like to continue toward advanced degrees.

A Proactive Approach to Health

At Morgan Community College this program focuses on a proactive approach—health promotion and prevention—rather than only treating conditions after they develop. You’ll gain skills that support individuals and communities in building healthier lives.

What Are Microcredentials?

Microcredentials are short, focused training programs designed to get you job-ready quickly. Basically, a microcredential is a small certificate that can built on to earn larger certificates. Each course provides:

  • Practical training to prepare you for entry-level behavioral health jobs.
  • A digital badge upon completion, issued by the Colorado Community College System (CCCS). These industry-recognized badges show employers that you’ve mastered important skills.
  • Flexible learning with classes offered both online and in person.

Your microcredentials can also stack into an Associate or Bachelor of Applied Science degree, giving you the option to continue your education later.
