Morgan Community College (MCC) celebrated a successful academic year and recognized the dedication and service of its employees at its annual Employee Appreciation Luncheon held May 12, 2025. The event highlighted milestone years of service and honored those who exemplify MCC’s core values.
Employees honored for five years of service included Renee Sperry, Nursing Faculty; Amanda Czuprynski, Communications Faculty; Tyler Wunsch, Welding Faculty; Brooke Hosier, Media Design, Marketing, & Advertising Faculty; Mo Darar, Multicultural Entrepreneurial Business Faculty; and Michael Bidwell, Coordinator of the Regional Center at Limon.
Achieving ten years of service, Connie Mitchell, Math Lead Faculty & Division Chair of General Education; Jennifer Thistle, Dean of Health Sciences; and Rashar Jackson, Custodian I were recognized for their commitment to MCC and their positive impact over the past decade.
Reaching fifteen years of service, Jane Fries, Assistant to the President and Annette Lebsock, Accounting Technician II were celebrated for their continued service and leadership.
Honored for twenty years of service, Debra Wacker, Enrollment Specialist and Maria Cardenas, Director of Admissions & Advising, were recognized for two decades of outstanding dedication to MCC.
Celebrating twenty-five years of service, Carol Kuper, Mathematics Faculty & Director of GT Pathways and April Amack, Director of Learning Resources, were commended for their long-standing commitment and invaluable contributions to the college community.
Brad Parker, Automotive Technology faculty, was recognized for his outstanding contributions to MCC as he marked his retirement. His dedication to student success, commitment to excellence in automotive education, and years of service have left a lasting impact on the college community.
MCC also presented the annual Guiding Principles Award to Chloe Hirschfeld, Director of Purchasing, honoring her exceptional demonstration of the college’s core values: Integrity, Respect, Open and Honest Communication, and Collaboration. Known for her high energy, strong ethics, and transparent decision-making, Hirschfeld fosters unity through open communication and leads with purpose. Her work with internal and external stakeholders consistently reflects the heart of MCC’s mission.
The hard work, dedication, and lasting contributions of all MCC employees are essential to the continued success of students, the communities served, and the institution.
