Morgan Community College (MCC) announces the appointment of MaKyle Mares as its new Executive Director of Development. An MCC alumnus, Mares brings a strong connection to the College, along with a wealth of experience in nonprofit leadership, business development, and community engagement.
Mares previously served as Executive Director and Main Street Manager for the Brush! Area Chamber of Commerce, Foundation, and Main Street Program, where he led numerous initiatives to support local business growth and community vitality. He has also worked at Double R Embroidery as a project manager and engraving technician and is the owner of BOSS Marketing, a company focused on strategic communications and brand development.
As Executive Director, Mares will oversee fundraising efforts, donor relations, and community outreach supporting the MCC Foundation’s mission to provide life-changing support to students. His combined background in local leadership and business strategy will help further the College’s efforts to expand scholarships, enhance academic programs, and improve student access to higher education.
