The MCC Center for Arts and Community Enrichment (CACE) announces a new photographic exhibit by artist Janna Carter, on display from August 21 through September 18, 2025, at the CACE Gallery of Fine Art, located at 300 Main Street, Fort Morgan, CO. The exhibit is free and open to the public Mondays through Thursdays, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Janna Carter, an accomplished artist with a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Integrated Design, brings a richly layered perspective to her photography. Her work showcases striking images of buildings and public spaces, revealing unexpected beauty in the often overlooked places. Through her lens, everyday objects and scenes become subjects of quiet wonder and artistic exploration.
“My photography is pure realism,” Carter shared. “What makes it unique is how I see objects—the angles, composition, and perspective. I want viewers to experience the details they might otherwise miss, and maybe even see the world a little differently.”
Carter’s vibrant imagery offers a thoughtful reflection on contemporary life. Her photos take the ordinary and make it feel remarkable, encouraging the viewer to pause and see things from a different perspective.
“Ms. Carter’s exhibit is the first one for the CACE 2025/2026 Season,” stated CACE Coordinator, Suzanna Spears. “We are privileged to be able to share these extraordinary works with the community. Don’t miss this unique set of works.”
The exhibit is part of MCC CACE’s ongoing mission to bring enriching cultural opportunities to the community. CACE offers a variety of free events and programming throughout the year.
