Morgan Community College (MCC) announces the addition of two educators: Beatty Jamieson, Business Faculty, and Patrick Weston, Electrical Mechanical Faculty.
Beatty Jamieson holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and Entrepreneurship from Middle Tennessee State University and a Master of Finance and Fraud Investigation from Colorado State University. With over eighteen years of experience as an entrepreneur, he has successfully launched ventures in online retail, digital publishing, technology development, and product innovation. Jamieson has also collaborated on project development with large corporations in healthcare and finance, while providing consulting support to small businesses nationwide. His expertise brings real-world business insight and practical knowledge to MCC students.
Patrick Weston brings sixteen years of experience as an electrical contractor specializing in low voltage, residential, and commercial work. His professional journey includes owning and operating businesses in ceramic tile and mobile DJ services. Previously, Weston served as Electrical Technologies Program Manager at Southern Technical College in Florida, where he expanded the program from seven to 156 students, achieving a 98% placement rate. He also taught Electrical Technology at Northwest Kansas Technical College before relocating to Colorado. Weston is an alumnus of UT Knoxville and Southern Utah University and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Adult Education. He is a member of the Electrical Council of Florida, the IAEI Rocky Mountain Chapter, and serves on the consulting board for Tampa Area Theme Parks.
