Morgan Community College (MCC) announces two internal staff promotions and the addition of two new team members, recognizing the experience, leadership, and continued contributions of employees who support the college’s students, operations, and mission.
Jessica Edington transitioned from Marketing Manager to Marketing & Website Manager effective January 2026. Edington has served MCC since 2010, beginning as Multimedia Lead Faculty through 2018 before moving into marketing leadership in 2019. Over the past several years, she has played a key role in shaping the college’s branding and digital communications. In the expanded role, Edington will continue supporting marketing strategy implementation while leading the development and management of the college’s website, advertising, and brand efforts. She holds a Master of Educational Technology and a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Social Sciences from the University of Northern Colorado, as well as an Associate of Arts from Morgan Community College.
Chloe Hirschfeld transitioned from Director of Purchasing & Budget to Director of Purchasing and Capital Projects effective January 2026. Hirschfeld joined MCC in November 2017 and has led purchasing operations with a focus on fiscal responsibility, efficiency, and compliance. In the expanded role, she will continue overseeing purchasing while also managing capital projects that support the college’s facilities and long-term infrastructure needs. Hirschfeld holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Northern Colorado and an Associate of Science from Aims Community College.
Tara Boyer joined MCC as Director of Secondary Transitions in March 2026. Boyer brings more than a decade of experience as a student-centered educational leader, having served as a principal in multiple Colorado school districts. Most recently, she served as Principal in Morgan County School District Re-3, where she led a preschool and kindergarten program with approximately 450 students and 90 staff members. During her tenure, she implemented Colorado Universal Preschool, strengthened early literacy alignment, and supported consistent improvement in student outcomes. She previously served as Principal in Wiggins School District and as a Senior Project Manager at Centennial BOCES, where she supported curriculum development and Alternative Teacher Licensure programs across multiple districts. Boyer holds a Master of Arts in Elementary Education and maintains both a Colorado Professional Principal and Professional Teacher License.
DJ Eicher joined MCC as EMS Program Coordinator in 2026, bringing more than twenty-five years of experience in emergency medical services and fire response. He currently serves with Flight for Life and St. Elizabeth Hospital and has previously worked with Banner Health and Morgan County Ambulance. In addition, Eicher has served with the Fort Morgan Volunteer Fire Department since 2008. His extensive field experience includes emergency and critical care, patient triage, advanced airway management, and high-stress response situations. He holds paramedic certification from Denver Health Paramedic School and earned both his AEMT and EMT certifications through Morgan Community College. Eicher also maintains State EMS Instructor certification and serves as a National Registry Training Officer.
