The Multicultural Entrepreneur Program at Morgan Community College is here to help you succeed. This program is designed for Spanish-speaking and Somali-speaking entrepreneurs in our community.

This program is built to remove barriers and create opportunity. Classes are taught in your language (Spanish or Somali), so you can learn, ask questions, and build your business with confidence.

Rural Business Entrepreneurship

One-year certificate designed to enhance business management skills by looking at a new business venture. Emphasis will be placed on the research and development of a complete business plan through the use of technology.

Financial Analysis

One-year certificate focusing on financial analysis and health of the business. Development and interpretation of financial reports will point to strengths and weaknesses for business analysis purposes.

Records & Business Planning

One-year certificate program in business planning and computerized record keeping. Emphasis will be placed on the implementation and maintenance of an accurate set of computerized financial records, computer terminology, accounting concepts, and compiling a business plan.

Market Plan Development

One-year certificate emphasizing marketing strategies, enterprise/job costing analysis, sales/pricing trends, and risk management techniques. Marketing terminology, risk management strategies, marketing research and analysis along with marketing strategies for the development of a marketing plan will be emphasized.

Mo Darar

Mo Darar has been a faculty member at MCC since 2020, where he teaches in the Multicultural Entrepreneur Program. He focuses on business instruction and support for immigrant and refugee communities, helping entrepreneurs who aspire to start or grow their businesses. Before joining Morgan Community College, he taught Political Science and International Relations at Aims Community College. He holds a master’s degree in International Relations and Conflict Resolution and a bachelor’s degree in English Literature.

Jorge Correa

Jorge Correa is a dynamic multicultural executive, educator, and consultant with over 30 years of international experience across retail, sales, marketing, training, and business development. His career spans leadership roles in major multinational companies like Chevron Texaco, Red Bull, SABMiller, and Materne (GoGo Squeez), where he led business expansions, brand launches, and market entries throughout Latin America, North America, and the Caribbean.

Jorge is also a passionate educator and academic leader, currently serving as Business Professor of Multicultural Entrepreneurial Business at Morgan Community College in Colorado. He is known for his innovative outreach efforts, including hosting a Spanish-language business radio show to support Hispanic entrepreneurs and boost college enrollment.

With an MBA in International Business from Georgia State University and bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, Jorge combines corporate acumen with a deep commitment to empowering others. His mission-driven approach to teaching and mentorship focuses on student success, inclusivity, and real-world impact, making him a respected figure in both the corporate and academic worlds.
