MCC CACE Presents Boulder International Film Festival

Fort Morgan, CO 8/4/2020. Morgan Community College (MCC) Center for Arts and Community Enrichment (CACE) invites the community to attend the annual Boulder International Film Festival on August 13, 2020 at 6:00 p.m.  The event will be held at the Historic Sands Theater, located at 211 Clayton Street in Brush, Colorado, and  will feature a selection of short films and the opportunity to discuss film styles with MCC’s own film critic, Ewan Magie.

Included among the Festival’s screenings is the short film The Running Pastor, directed by Tim Kemple. This short documentary depicts Sverri, an avid runner, who uses his time on the spectacular cliffs of his Danish island to help others work through their conflicts. As the local pastor, he must keep everyone’s secrets.

This local presentation of Boulder International Film Festival movies is free, due to generous donors who support the mission of CACE. Seating is limited to the first 50 attendees to allow for safe social distancing. Attendees will be expected to wear masks during the event.

For more information about the film festival, contact CACE Coordinator Suzanna Spears at (970) 542-3180 or [email protected]. Additional information about CACE is available at www.morgancc.edu./CACE.
