Student Success
MCC’s Director of Institutional Effectiveness is responsible for the traditional “Institutional Research” duties. These duties include: providing routine information and analysis about the Morgan Community College and its student population to federal, state, and accreditation agencies; fielding impromptu information requests from MCC faculty and staff; and administering, collecting, and reporting student course evaluations. The office of institutional effectiveness provides data to support college planning, student advising, grant writing and other projects and initiatives that require quantitative and/or comparative information about the College.

| MCC Daily FTE Report | MCC updates the Full-Time Equivalency (FTE) report most weekdays. This report provides a year-over-year comparison of enrollment for the current (or upcoming) term and the equivalent term in the past several years. |
| Colorado Department of Higher Education (CDHE) Research | MCC provides data to the Colorado Department of Higher Education each semester through the Student Unit Record Data System (SURDS). This data is used to generate reports for public and legislative use. CDHE publishes reports on a variety of topics like matriculation, remediation, retention, transfer, and graduation. These reports provide comparisons across all Colorado public high schools, colleges, and universities. In addition, CDHE provides the ability to search for data on a specific topic for individual institutions. |

| US Dept of Education IPEDS Reports | In compliance with federal regulations, MCC also reports data to the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS). Some of the data is pre-filled by CDHE using reported SURDS Data. MCC confirms that the pre-loaded information is correct and also supplies additional data to the IPEDS system. IPEDS allows any individual to search data on a specific institution or make comparisons. In addition, MCC creates customized Data Feedback Reports with comparisons to other Colorado Community Colleges as well as peer colleges across the country. |

| CTE Reports | The CTE Reports webpage contains reports related to CTE Approved Programs and 5-Year Trend data. Reports can obtained for any Colorado Community College and are available in HTML and/or Excel formats. |
