Morgan Community College (MCC) Fort Morgan campus and Centers will be closed on Monday, June 19, 2023, in observance of the Juneteenth holiday. No classes are scheduled on June 19. All locations will reopen on Tuesday, June 20.
Juneteenth is a state holiday signed into law by Governor Polis in 2022. It commemorates the day in 1865 when Union soldiers arrived in Galveston, Texas to announce the end of the Civil War and the emancipation of slaves.
