Morgan Community College (MCC) invites the public to the Fort Morgan campus, located at 920 Barlow Road, for the groundbreaking of the Dahms-Talton Center for Skilled Trades and Technology on December 14 at 10:00 AM. The ceremony will occur on the east side of the Fort Morgan campus at the new building site, located at the south end of Cottonwood Hall. The Dahms-Talton Center for Skilled Trades and Technology will provide needed space for MCC electrical programs, including Electromechanical Technology (ELMT) and Industrial Controls and Telematics (ICT). The new facility will also provide space to grow the college’s trade offerings, including Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC), Solar and Green Energy Technology, and Mechatronics programs. The 4,942 square foot facility will feature flexible laboratory spaces, equipment and general storage areas, and faculty offices.
Light refreshments will be served in the Student Center following the ceremony.
