Morgan Community College (MCC) announces the winning photographers of its Wray Community Photo Contest, an initiative launched to celebrate the people, places, and moments that define the Wray area. The selected photographs will be displayed inside MCC’s new Wray Center, located at 300 Dexter Street. A ribbon cutting event is scheduled for December 12, 2025, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
“We’re grateful for the incredible response from the community,” said Mindy Centa, MCC Director of Regional Community Outreach in Wray. “These images will help tell Wray’s story inside the new Center. When students and visitors walk through the doors, we want them to immediately feel that sense of connection and pride that defines Wray.”
The photo contest was created to gather authentic images that capture the spirit of Wray, its landscapes, traditions, and the everyday life that make the community unique. Entries were submitted by residents from across the region, each offering their own perspective on what makes Wray unmistakably home. Winning selections were chosen based on artistic composition, how well each photograph represents the community’s identity, and image quality.
Photo Contest Winners include Brianna Tracy, Danny Stoeber, Hannah Fernandez, Janet Brophy, Kassidy Schwart, Cindy Musgrave and Patty Bohall.
“We appreciate all who participated and contributed their talent,” stated MCC Director of Communications, Marketing, and Recruitment, Ariella Gonzales-Vondy. “The college looks forward to celebrating Wray’s creativity and showcasing these images when the new Center opens.”
MCC is now registering students for spring semester. Courses begin January 20, 2026. Prospective students can visit www.morgancc.edu/spring to access the Spring 2026 schedule and register for classes.
